With the rapid development of railway and urban rail transport, made a higher demand for real-time tracking of the train. This thesis uses new technologies to improve the positioning accuracy of the train in order to protect the safety while trains running quickly. With the continuous development of train positioning technology, the traditional positioning technology can not meet the current requirements of train positioning, it is the mainstream train to use train positioning system combined by a variety of positioning technology to improve the accuracy. By comparing the advantages and disadvantages of various positioning technologies for different needs, it can use different positioning technology combined mode to ensure the positioning accuracy while reducing costs.This thesis studies and analyzes the background and development of domestic and international train positioning technology, according the actual situation of train positioning technology in China to design train integrated positioning solution. Thesolution mainly uses GPS location positioning technology, laying electronic tags in the weak GPS signal sections, assisted GPS positioning by using RFID technology, design the overall trains combinations positioning system. This thesis uses a UHF RFID identification system, using a dedicated electronic tag reader, reads the tag information and the error rate is almost zero, auxiliary to complete the GPS positioning function. The basic principles of design:In weak GPS signal or double track section, laying electronic tags, the reader is fixed to the train, using GPS positioning when the electronic tags is not read. Using the collected electronic tag location information to regulate GPS positioning information when reading the electronic tags in order to achieve the purpose of real-time monitoring of trains running. Finally, analyze the feasibility of using a combination of GPS positioning system and RFID technology.In this thesis, it divides modules of train positioning system solution, and explain each module features. Through in-depth study of how to processing location data of GPS and RFID positioning, sets up a mathematical model of train positioning data processing, using mathematical model to calculate the train position, speed and clock error. Finally, derives the mathematical model and get the very of error produced between before and after the use of RFID-assisted positioning train positioning, verifying the feasibility of the design of the train integrated positioning.
