With the rapid development of urban rail transit and a wide range of transport, the newmodern tram has been attracted the attention of many domestic cities and has been promoted.The rise of modern streetcar can be not only solved the traffic congestion and other problems,but also brought about tremendous business opportunities. Therefore, it is not only had a verypositive effect to solve the traffic problems currently faced by the majority of the cities inChina to research and develop the modern streetcar-related products, but also the firstdeveloped related products can be effectively prevented foreign technology to China’s marketmonopoly, and developed core technologies with independent intellectual property rights areconducive to enhancing international competitiveness in the rise of the modern streetcarbackground.Modern streetcar on-board system belongs to the modern streetcar signaling system, andit is an important part of the traffic safety and efficiency. As a modern tramway signal systemextended in the vehicle, modern tram vehicle communication transceiver module is played therole of completing the sending and receiving, modulating and demodulating the carrier signalduring the process of the tram operation safely and reliably and the communications betweenvehicle buses. This module is contacted the trackside equipments with the automotive systems.Therefore, there is a great significance to study and design modern streetcar on-boardcommunication transceiver module.Based on the analyses for the characteristics of a modern streetcar train-groundcommunication, with reference to the existing railway vehicle communication mode, thethesis completed the study and the design of modern streetcar on-board communicationtransceiver module based on the inductive loop communication technology.Firstly, combing with the practical application, it is analyzed and demonstrated that thedesign principles and functional requirements of on-board communication transceiver module,and the thesis briefly introduced the train-ground communication and ground loop inductionsystem associated with it. It is presented a whole constitute solution of the ground-vehiclecommunication transceiver module combined with the induction on loop systems. Because ofthe special nature of the ground-vehicle communication loop structure, the thesis mainlyanalyzed the working principle and characteristics of vehicle transceiver antenna, andelaborated vehicle communications transceivers’ operating principle and workflow.Secondly, the ground-vehicle communication module hardware circuit is designed, and itdetailed the design of the power supply module, the master chip, clock, vehicle bus interface,carrier communication, noise filtering and signal amplification circuit. And according to thedifferent vehicle transceiver antenna structure, set its detailed parameters. On the basis of being completed the design of hardware, it is written of the appropriate driver software. Inorder to ensure the effectiveness of communication, it is designed and analyzed thecommunication code and software fault-tolerant control.Finally, it is analyzed the anti-electromagnetic interference and the anti-sportinterference performance of the on-board communication transceiver module in the actualwork environment, and the result shows that the module has a strong anti-electromagneticinterference and anti-sport interference ability in practical work. In order to ensure the abilityof the designed on-board communication transceiver module in practical work, it isconstructed the experimental platform to test it, and the test result is showed that the modulecan be perfectly completed the communication between the bus and the ground equipment,and the transmission error rate is in line with the actual communication needs.
