ABSTRACT:As a major high-speed railway communication technology, GSM-R’s reliability and stability play an important role in ensuring railway operation order and improving the railway transport efficiency. In order to master the working state of high-speed railway communication system, it is necessary to conduct a comprehensive detection of the communication system, so as to provide basic data for system optimization. This thesis studies the detection technology of high-speed railway communication system and develops high-speed railway communication test system, with the aim of meeting the needs of high-speed railway communication system’s construction and maintenance.This thesis analyzes thestatus of domestic and foreign high-speed train communication test system and introduces GSM-R system’s structure, its main bearer service and the indicator system of GSM-R’s wireless field strengths coverage and service quality. Based on the characteristics of high-speed communication detection, the main research content and technical indicators are introduced. Combining GSM-R’s technical principle, this thesis analyzes the detection demands for wireless coverage, electromagnetic environment, quality of serviceand application function. Besides, this thesis discusses field strength sampling interval, spectrum scanning methods, GSM-R quality of service evaluation methods, and railway-dedicated detection technology, and other key issues. Moreover, this thesis studies also GPRS attach success rate, cell reselection, voice quality evaluation and other expansion techniques, proposing detection methods for the corresponding indicators.This thesis presents communication detection system’s framework design, hardware configuration, software architecture and function design, conducting analysis of the system from scalability, openness, intelligence analysis, and automation detection and other aspects. This thesis introduces the methods for all-round multi-level testing of the GSM-R network, from physical level to service bearer level, but also from application level. This thesis conducts a detailed classification of data from different equipment or different test projects of the same equipment of the communication detection system and puts forward various data processing methods, including simultaneous detection of multiple projects, integration of multiple data sources and linkage analysis.Field trials are performed in order to test the completeness of technical solutions and detection projects, as well as the system’s main function.
