ABSTRACT:It is recognized as one of the best energy-saving solution to restore energy. On one hand, the recyclable energy of boom takes up more than40%of the total recyclable energy on typical working condition of excavator; on the other hand, control performance and energy-saving performance are equally important, and the two factors are restrict to each other in the energy recovery system. One excavator boom potential energy recovery system based on accumulator was put forward and studied out of theory, simulation and experiment. The works in this paper were summarized as follows:One excavator boom potential energy recovery system based on accumulator was put forward. With building the mathematics models, the parameters of the main component were designed and the simulation models was built in AMESim.Considering the performance of control and energy-saving, one system comprehensive evaluating method was proposed. According to the method, common system and energy recovery system were assessed respectively. The relationship between control performance and energy-saving performance of the system was obtained through the assessment of the energy recovery system. With the relationship two cooperative optimizations combining control performance with energy-saving performance were put forward.Relative experimental platform was established. The feasibility of the energy recovery system, validation of its evaluation method and efficiency of cooperative optimizations were verified. The results suggest that the energy recovery system are able to restore the potential energy released by boom efficiently. Besides, the comprehensive evaluation method can correctly reflect the control performance and energy-saving performance of the system, and collaborative optimizations could improve the control performance along with energy-saving performance.To sum up, one excavator boom potential energy recovery system based on accumulator was provided in this paper. And a comprehensive evaluation method for excavator boom system was raised, providing some guidance for designing and optimizing excavator energy recovery system.
