In the process of road used, asphalt materials will have a series of reactions such as oxidation and polymerization which is because of the actions of load and natural environment. That will lead to the asphalt aging and road performance degradation. The ultraviolet aging of asphalt has affected the service life of asphalt road surface seriously in some province of China. Nano TiO2has been proved to be efficient catalyst of NOx in the Automobile exhaust and has good ultraviolet shielding performance. But the catalytic activity and ultraviolet shielding performance of different crystal forms of TiO2are not the same.In my article, Different crystal type Nano TiO2powder will be added in asphalt as modifier. The experiment of ultraviolet irradiation and PAV aging will be done. Analysis the effect of the different content and the crystal structure of Nano TiO2types in the performance of asphalt aging, through the changes of Penetration n Ductility and Softening point between before and after the aging. The results of text show that asphalt mixed with nano TiO2powder has lower Softening point, increasingly Ductility and lager Ductility than the initial asphalt. After ultraviolet aging, the indicators of mixed asphalt are better than the initial asphalt. From what has been discussed above, the best performance is rutile type, followed is mixed crystal type, the last is Anatase. Three types of powder best dosage is1.0%.Part of asphalt mixture, this article will nano TiO2powder spray on the surface of asphalt mixture, the rut by ultraviolet radiation, through the low temperature performance before and after aging, aging degree to evaluate mixture, analysis of nanometer TiO2crystal type and dosage for uv aging ability of asphalt mixture are studied. Taken together, on the surface of asphalt mixture sprayed nano TiO2powder, can effectively improve the low temperature performance of the mixture after aging. TiO2powder dosage, the greater the improvement effect is more obvious, the mixture after low temperature aging performance. Type from the point of crystal type, rutile type is superior to the effect of sharp titanium powder, this part with in this paper, asphalt aging research conclusion is also consistent.
