In developed countries, large-scale wind turbine is a main characteristic of modernpower systems, wind power is currently the largest energy and green energy as windpower clean environment, without destroying the natural environment is one of thehighest efficiency of new energy. Wind power is the new energy with more promisingtechnology to replace traditional fossil fuels, but when connect to the power grid, theimpact on the stability of the power grid on the run, there is still an important issue to beaddressed. This article from the following aspects of some of the problems of windpower is discussed:1) About wind power connect to grid, the previous literature on a number of similarproblems, such as centralized wind power is more conducive than single group to gridstability; various impact of wind power in the power system; various aspects of theproblem of the power system protection by wind power and some of the technicalrequirements of connect to grid.2) Modern wind power plants usually use VSCF wind power generator, doubly-fedinduction wind generators are the main types, most widely used. Modern wind turbinestypes most commonly used are the doubly-fed induction wind turbines, VSCF windpower generation in the modern wind power plants are most widely used.3) Finally, we discussed the impact of frequency and voltage when wind connectedto main grid.
