Microgrid provides an effective technical way for the large-scale application ofdistributed new energy and renewable energy. It can effectively solve the contradictionbetween the power system and the distributed generation, integrate the advantages ofdifferent types of distributed generations, and achieve its large-scale application.Microgrid can provide better diversification of electricity supply, operate at a moresecure, reliable, stable, economical, environmentally friendly state, which is in accordwith higher demand of smart grid for microgrid technology. With the development ofnew microgrid technology, many issues are to be solved, such as optimal allocation ofdistributed generations in microgrid and the overall economic efficiency. So this paperanalysis the system from the aspect of optimal allocation of distributed generations andthe overall economic efficiency, in order to achieve the large-scale applications ofmicrogrid technology.Firstly this paper introduces some microgrid technology such as photovoltaic, windpower, micro-turbines and energy storage devices, analysis the cost-effectiveness ofmicrogrid. For the first time, this paper applies fuzzy comprehensive evaluation methodto evaluate the microgrid benefits, and establishes a comprehensive benefit evaluationmodel of microgrid. Relevant examples verify that the microgrid technology hassignificant economic and social benefits. Then the optical/fuel complementary optimalallocation method in microgrid systems is proposed. As photovoltaic generation has thefeatures of random, intermittent and volatility which cause the difficulty of dispatch andcontrol, this paper studies the problem deeply and establishes an optimal allocationmodel based on light/fuel complementary microgrid system, considering the electricitysales revenue of microgrid system and the investment cost of micro-turbine group,operating and maintenance costs, environmental costs, fuel costs as the objectivefunction, fully considering the micro-turbine group ’s output limit,power generationefficiency, climbing constraints and price subsidies constraints. The composite globaladaptive artificial fish algorithm is used to solve the problem, and actual data verifies thecorrectness and validity of the method. Finally, the optimal allocation of hierarchicalgame approach is proposed. Taking different types of microsources in microgrid as gameplayers, establishes an optimal allocation model from a layer of game of microsources.Based on the model, taking microgrid and main grid as game players, this paper builds anoptimal allocation model from a layer of game of microsources and main grid. Theglobally adaptive composite AFSA and eliminate duplication strictly inferior strategygame algorithm is used. Practical cases in a region of China is provided as simulation analysis. The simulation results show that under the cooperate mode, microgrid and maingrid achieve the optimal allocation, ensure efficient use of energy, improvecomprehensive technical and economic benefits of microgrid and main grid.
