Tmermal power plant boiler "four tube" refers to the boiler water wall, superheater,reheater and economizer. But the main reason for unplanned downtime of tmermal powerplants is caused by boiler "four tube" leakage."Four tube" leakage for the equipmentoperation stability of the power plant has produced great harm. We can see how toprevent boiler "four tube" leakage on production safety and improve the economicbenefits plays a huge role.Power plant on the premise of economic benefit is caused by the "four tube" leakageunplanned outage is particularly valued. In order to analysis and study of boiler heatingsurface leakage phenomenon, this paper is based on the theory of QPT namely qualitativeprocess of research methods. QPT qualitative process theory is Forbus in MIT’s theory,Its principle is through the Individual View and the Process of a physical system isdescribed, so as to establish the View of the physical system structure and Processstructure it is concluded that the behavior of the system description. Qualitative processreasoning theory as the theory of advanced technology’s characteristic includes: Modelis relatively simple, easy to use, can handle various kinds of information, Based onhuman thinking judgment, and reasoning of easy to understand and use, has high solvingefficiency. Using qualitative reasoning method of boiler heating surface leakagephenomenon of reasoning, to effectively improve equipment availability and work hasimportant significance to prevent leakage, research to reduce leakage tube to improve theeconomic benefits of thermal power unit have good prospects for development.This paper employs qualitative reasoning (QPT) approach is applied to the analysisof boiler heating surface leakage phenomenon. The first chapter detailed elaborated: Thispaper selected topic background and the qualitative reasoning applied to the realsignificance, this paper introduces the methods of fault diagnosis, Analyzes the leakageof boiler heating surface can cause safety and economic benefits of thermal power plants.The second chapter of the method based on qualitative reasoning is presented, and eachalgorithm for system conditions.
