Considering the actual working conditions of electric power dispatching centerof Nanchang power supply company, further expanding the function of dispatchingautomation system has important practical significance, such as improving themanagement and efficiency, improving the reality, making full use of existingresources.Based on the application status of dispatching automation system in Nanchangcontrol center, the domestic and international research status and development ofelectric power automation system are proposed. The Nanchang control centercommunication power grid dispatching automation system, basic automation level,and scheduling problems in monitoring mode are pointed out. The researchsignificance of dispatching automation system upgrading is fully affirmed.By analyzing the current system reformation necessity, the necessity ofupgrading improved guiding ideology as well as the basis is proposed. Modificationprinciple and target is established and the dispatching automation system upgradingmeasures are discussed in details. A series of measures from three aspects areproposed, focusing on the partition of the information signal filtering, increasedapplication of remote viewing function and realization of the function of schedulingnew lines, to fundamentally solve the series present problems:Firstly, the screening and stratification are particularly important for monitoringsignal. The unattended substation site from the signal is judged from monitorinspection signal in monitoring machine. The system can upload a large signal everytime. In order to shorten the monitor and judgment time, induction and processing ofsignals are applied in power grid dispatching automation system. Secondly, the visualfunction is increased based on ‘four away’ and the technology ‘five away’ is furtherimproved. Finally, new line intelligent identification and naming function is added toimprove the new line naming management and improve work efficiency andlimitation of grid security. Through the upgrading and transformation of thedispatching automation system, the scientific and reasonable scheduling of theoperators is realized, and the safety, economy and high quality of power grid are bothensured.
