As a new kind of landscape, Urban Wetland Park has large ecological and socialfunctions. It’s not only playing an important role in improving the ecological environment ofthe city around, but also a place for the citizens to relax and enjoy themselves. For its specialfeature, it impresses the visitor in its own way. With the development of the society, thestudies on the wetland park are being more and more valued. This paper focused on theinvestigation of the Sanmenxia National Wetland Park, which is in Henan Province, based onthe application of landscape ecology, tourism recreation, landscape aesthetics and so on.Which was on the basic of extensive literature and field investigation, the study did acomprehensive evaluation of plant landscape of urban Wetland Park, took SanmenxiaNational Wetland Park for example. The paper studied the City Park Plant LandscapeEvaluation and Design, made a series of theoretical research, such as the method of evaluationof plant landscape of wetland park, as well as the theory of wetland landscape design andmode. So as to provide a basis for the future of urban wetland park similar to the constructionof landscape plants the theoty and practice. The main conclusions and results are as followed:(1)Through conduct field investigation and the related basis bata processing plantecology, using the sampling method to study Sanmenxia National Wetland Park vegetationtypes. The result of the18plots identified the the species of plants, the main configurationmode of the plant, the plant landscape feature and so on. The evaluation result was in linewith the facts of the park: there were79kinds of plants, belonging to35families and66genera. There were three families in which gymnosperms subglottic57species,61generaand32families of angiosperms72kinds; arbor46kinds,11kinds of shrubs,22kinds ofherbs, deciduous trees have33kinds of plants,13kinds of evergreen plants. The park wasmore to choose native plants, such as Salix, Sophora japonica, elm, etc., to keep the localplant landscape features, and created a more stable plant community; set boardwalk in dragonLake with a view to create a wetland landscape ornamentals; referenced Zhaogong classics,enriching the cultural landscape of the park.(2)Using the AHP comprehensive evaluation conducted aesthetic evaluation, the papervalued Sanmenxia National Wetland Park. In the process, the paper constructed the wetland plant landscape evaluation system. The evaluating system showed that the plant soeciesdiversity and the ecological character of the water played an important role in the wetlandpark. The evaluation results showed that:18plots can be divided into four degree, and theprevious three states dominated. The evaluation results can provide references andsuggestions for future improvements and upgrading of the design of wetland park.(3)Based on the theories of landscape ecology, vegetation succession theory, landscapeaesthetics, recreation and other theories, using "eco-design" as a guide, the paper studied thedetailed and comprehensive exposition of the water edge landscape plants, landscape plantsrevetment, water plants and other landscape plants of different types of urban wetlandlandscape design elements in accordance with wetland conservation area to explore the newmethod of urban wetland landscape plants design. On this basis, advocate in the planning anddesign of future wetland park and the extensive use of eco-bulkhead technology; repair on thebasis of natural, artificial properly repaired; select permeable paving materials.
