Comprehensive Analysis And Research On Interactive Relationship Between Transportation Corridor And Economic Belt

Transportation, which plays the role of the foundation and precondition of human survivaland development, is one kind of industry of guidance, fundamentality and security, and itsdevelopment has undertaken an outstanding and direct relationship with the development ofregional economy. Therefore it has evolved from the simplification to diversification,combined with the advancement and innovation of engineering science and technology.Hence it has developed the different modes of transportation of dynamic integration,coordinated division of labor and mutual effect, which consists of rail transport, road transport,water transport, air transport and pipeline transport. Actually the integration of the effectivetransportation corridor will be an irresistible trend of the development of transportation andthe objective requirement of regional economic development.The Economic Belt, which is the developed place near vital railway, highway, station yardand synthetically transport junction is the research subject of this paper. The other researchsubject is transportation corridor. The research aims at discuss the general rule andmechanism of interactive relationship of transportation corridor and economic belt and thenmakes quantitative and empirical analysis based on theoretical study. the transportationcorridor--economic belt evaluation model is presented, the adaptability and availability of themodel is verified.Firstly, the paper summarize the interact relationship of transportation corridor andeconomic belt based on the research of domestic and foreign paper relevant to transportationand economic development.Secondly, the paper analyze the interact mechanism of transportation corridor andeconomic belt and discussed the interact relationship of both from different respects based onseveral impact elements. Then try to replenish innovatively for the meaning and characteristicof transportation corridor and economic belt, and make clear the starting point of this paper,and furthermore form the analyze logic of it.Thirdly, the paper raised an innovated research way of coupling rating method oftransportation corridor--economic belt system and set up a reasonable rate system which isused as quantitative analysis of the system. It is the main part and innovation of this paper.Lastly, on the base of data of Beijing and Shanghai region, the paper selects the typicalindex which can reflect the transportation corridor--economic belt ability and then calculateand analyze the coupling degree of transportation corridor and economic belt from2000to2010.
