| With the development of technology, the improvement in the level of informationtechnology and automation, Electricity, communications, finance, chemicals, coalindustry, transportation and other industries for reliability and stability of the powersystem put forward higher requirements. VRLA battery because of its excellentproperties, and is widely used as a back-up battery, which is the final guarantee of powersupply system. To ensure that the battery can normally provide power, batterymaintenance becomes an important task. However, the traditional approach requires themaintenance of site offline, which brings a risk to the power supply system. Therefore, aonline intelligent monitoring and activation system for battery group is designed in thisthesis, which can test battery performance online, online activation and remotemonitoring.Firstly, an overall system scheme is discussed based on the system function,including the online switching unit for charge and discharge, the controllable charge unit,the controllable discharge unit, the data acquisition unit，the remote monitoring unit andthe coordination of functional units. Then, the hardware and software of system aredesigned based on the overall system scheme. In the design of hardware, LM3S8962isthe main controller of system, and there are LCD display unit, the key unit, thecontrollable charge unit, the controllable discharge unit, the switching unit for charge anddischarge, the voltage measuring unit, the current measuring unit and the temperaturemeasuring unit. The software is designed using the modular approach, including the LCDdisplay module, the data acquisition module, the controllable charge and dischargemodule, the PI regulator module and the WEB server module. Finally, the experimentsshow that the system can remotely monitor the battery performance of real-timeinformation, online charge and discharge battery, online activation battery. And thebattery capacity has increased after activation. |
