Modern rotating machinery developed on the trend of high speed、heavy load and intelligence. The high speed rotary device is the key equipment in process industry, such as turbomachinery、pan、compressor and so on. Resonance vibration caused by unbalance influences the ordinary operation of equipments, so rotor’s balancing is the critical factor for solving this problem. In order to complete the balancing process on line, the active balancing technique is studied in this paper. This skill avoids the broken down of the equipment on traditional balancing method, which decreases the company’s loss. The summary of development of Higee and fume turbine is made in this paper. The vibration problem is analyzed in these two kinds of equipments, and the method of vibration control with active balancing device is put forward. The main research focuses on two kinds of active balancing techniques:electromagnetic active balancing system and hydraulic active balancing system. In order to solve the vibration problem caused by deposition on the padding disk, the vibration control method with electromagnetic active balancing device is put forward. The composing of electromagnetic active balancing system is introduced, and the balancing head is also studied in this paper. Moreover the control iteration algorithm of balance weight is represented by the author. And there is three sorts of numerical simulations based on Jeffcott model、single vertical cantilever model and Higee rotor model in this paper. Calculation result indicates that this control algorithm is superiority. Through experiment of electromagnetic active balancing device, the feasibility of control vibration with this device is confirmed. In the test of active balancing with stable unbalance, electromagnetic active balancing device could control rotor’s vibration effectively. The experiment date indicates that rotor’s vibration amplitude can be decreased more than84%, and the balancing process is less than30seconds. Through the test of active balancing with transient unbalance, rotor’s vibration amplitude can be decreased91%, within19seconds.Aiming at vibration problem on the fume turbine, it is studied to adopt hydraulic active balancing technique for depression vibration. The composing of hydraulic active balancing system is introduced by the author. And then a balancing head is designed and manufactured, which the maximum correction vector is30785g·mm. The numerical emulation of rotor’s dynamic is made based on model of fume turbine simulation experiment rig. Through the experiment research, the hydraulic active balancing device can depress the rotor’s vibration effectively. The amplitude of vibration decrease is more than90%.
