The ship propulsion shafting system is one of the most important part of the motivitysystem,It is located between the he host reducer gearbox output flange and the propeller,itsmainly function is to pass the power of the main engine to the propeller,meanwhile,thrust force is transferred to the thrust bearings by the propeller, then promoting the shipforward with the thrust force.While the propulsion shafting is running, complex loadsare acting on the propulsion shafting,such as the host excitation force and propellerforce,thus inevitably produce torsional, vertical, whirling vibration. Shaft vibration is animportant factor affecting the stability of the shaft,and the security and stability of shipwhether good or bad determined by the shafting stability, thus the ship propulsion shaftingtheoretical research and engineering application value is obvious.In this paper, the torsional and vibration whirling vibration which contribute toshafting stability has been studied, and developing and the whirling vibration and stabilityof marine shafting based on parameterization calculation software has been developed.Themajor works are as follows:This paper has do research on the basic principles of propulsion whirling shaftingvibration and torsional vibration, contain roundabout, simplified model and calculationmethods,and then abstract out the characteristic parameters of the shaft, includinggeometry, attributes and load and so on,the parametric model of shafting is established onthis basis.Using C++language to design shafting stability calculation software based onVisual Studio2008,the users just enter the shafting characteristic parameters, then it canbe automatically completed the parameter passing and driving,the whirling vibration canbe easily calculated,the software will call the ANSYS in batch mode automaticity tocomplete the calculation of torsional vibration,and the users can view and analyze results.The.shafting stability calculation software has a friendly interactive interface,and it issimple and easy to operate,and it makes the automation of ship shafting modeling andvibration analysis come true, it has a high practical value and reduces the repeat workgreatly.
