Design And Implementation Of Software For Linkage Type Fire Alarm Controller

The fire alarm controller is the equipment which can receive the automatic ormanual alarm signal from the detector, display the fire alarm information, indicate wherethe fire is and turn on the sound or light alarm device. The fire linkage control system isthe system which can receive the fire alarm signal from fire alarm controller and controlfire-fighting equipment to complete the fire protection according to the default logic. Inthe daily life, the traditional fire alarm controller can warn the fire early to made peopledeal with the fire timely. Fire control linkage system control the linkage device to dealwith the fire.It plays an important role in the fire protectionBased on the traditional fire alarm system, we customize the fire linkage controlmodule and the database of the fire alarm controller with fire linkage control functionaccording to the current national standard. We will use the ARM11based SamsungS3C6410development board as the hardware platform, and use embedded Linux as thesoftware platform. And we will use Embedded/Qt4to achieve the software of thecontroller, use SQLite database to achieve the database of the controller. Thehardware platform which adopts the ARM11can greatly increase the storage capacity andthe controller’s processing speed. The software platform adopts embedded Linuxcan improve the portability, real-time and stability of the controller. Use theSQLite database can improve the processing ability and stability of the controller. Use Qt4achieve the user interface which provides the interaction to the operator, database andcontroller. The controller will support automatic linkage, manual linkage function andcomplex linkage programming. Automatic linkage module will support four kinds oflinkage logic programming such as point input-point output, point input-groupoutput, group input-point output and group input-group output. In the linkagelogic programming, the controller can call unit equipment automatically which can speedup the linkage set. The design and implementation of fire linkage control module will bethe focus of this paper.At the same time, we will test the function of the controller system. The Results showthat all the function of the system have achieved. At last, we will provide the improvementideas to extend the function of the controller.
