At present China has increasing efforts to develop green building, meanwhile theconstruction industry to promote energy conservation. Housing industrialization is ourmain direction of future residential construction. Prefabricated shear wall structure asan important residential industrialized structural system, and has broad prospects fordevelopment. How to achieve the connection between the prefabricated shear wallstructure is to ensure a good seismic performance and overall performance of the keymeasures.Prefabricated shear wall with surface treatment and pre-distribution of thevertical wall of the connection bar are the two main aspects of Prefabricated shearwall connection. The sleeve grouting and plug holes for lap steel indirect connectionare the two main connections. While stress performance has been demonstratedtesting and has been in practical engineering applications, but its exist connectiondifficulties, the construction complexity and cost disadvantages. And existingconnections are more used prefabricated framework, there will be many technical andconstruction aspects of the problem for applied to prefabricated wall.According to the mechanical characteristics and the deficient existing connectionof the prefabricated shear wall, the paper proposes a connection in which embeddedcolumn is cast-in-place and alveolus is set up between the upper and lowerprefabricated wall. The alveolus area is casted in situ to meet the shear performancerequirements of shear wall. While the cast-in-place embedded column is to make thereinforcement of the edge component through, and to meet the shear requirements. For the study of such a connection, completed a total of four full-scale reinforcedconcrete shear wall specimens’ low cyclic loading test, in which a specimen for thewhole cast, and the remaining three as containing pre-fabricated wall specimens. Inthis paper, a detailed description of the test loads at all levels to carry out a test piececracks, distribution, specimen failure characteristics, each measuring point steel andconcrete strain and strain characteristics. Finally comparative analysis concluded thatwhile presenting topics focus and direction of future work.
