Residential industrialization is the development direction of construction industry in our country. As an effective means of constructing high-rise industrialized residence, prefabricated shear wall structure has a broad market prospects. Prefabricated shear wall alveolar type connection method was proposed to solve the present problems existing in the prefabricated shear wall connection technology, such as, complex construction, high cost. In order to promote the alveolar type connection technology, this paper continued to carry out finite element analysis and related experimental study on the basis of the early full-scale experimental study on seismic performance of prefabricated shear wall alveolar type connectionThis paper made elastic-plastic finite element analysis of four 1/2 scale shear wall models with different parameters by using Abaqus. After comparing and analyzing failure mode, load-displacement curve and bending bearing capacity of those models, the influence of related parameters on the failure mode of shear walls could be got, which provided a reference for load values of subsequent in-site tests. This paper conducted experimental study on flexural properties and shear properties of prefabricated shear wall, and it had designed 2 pieces of prefabricated shear wall bending specimen and 8 pieces of alveolar type connection shearing specimens. The low cycle reciprocating loading quasi static test and the unidirectional loading shear test were conducted in the structure laboratory of Tianjin University. The sizes of the 2 monolithic wall specimens are the same, and the difference is the reinforcement ratio of embedded columns. This paper presented the design and production of the specimens, the installation of test apparatus, the loading process, and described the failure mode, crack distribution, hysteretic energy dissipation capacity, and analyzed horizontal load, horizontal displacement, stiffness degradation in each stage of loading. The sizes of the 8 alveolar type connection shearing specimens are the same, including 2 total alveolar type specimens, 3 total alveolar type specimens with embedded columns, 3 part alveolar type specimens with embedded columns. The test researched the influence of axial compression ratio, embedded column setting, proportion of alveolar length of shear wall length on shear capacity of those shear wall specimens. This paper described the test process and test phenomenon, and italso analyzed and concluded horizontal load and displacement data.Through the above finite element analysis and test work, we can conclude that, setting the cast-in-situ embedded column and improving the reinforcement ratio of embedded column can effectively enhance the seismic performance of prefabricated shear wall alveolar type connection; the alveolar type connection shearing specimen presents inclined crack shear failure mode and the shear capacity of prefabricated shear walls would reduce with the decrease of the proportion of alveolar length of shear wall length.
