With the rapid development of social economy, urban medium voltagedistribution network play an increasingly significant role in the national life. As animportant part of urban distribution, medium voltage distribution network is the keylinks connecting high-voltage with low-voltage distribution networks. When mediumvoltage distribution network is operating reliably, economically and efficiently, theentire power system will have a good performance. It is significant for developmentof the city power grid that urban medium voltage distribution network has areasonable structure, flexible operation and convenient maintenance, economicinvestment. The power supply mode of medium voltage power distribution networkdirectly affects power system reliability and power quality. A reasonable and effectivepower supply mode, can greatly improve the power supply quality, and access to goodsocial and economic benefits.This paper choose those evaluation indexes which could properly reflect thecharacteristics of power supply mode, based on reliability, economy, and adaptability,to establish a scientific and reasonable evaluation system for medium voltage powerdistribution network power supply mode and give the calculation method for eachselected index, after summarizing the current urban medium voltage distribution gridnetwork structure. Then this paper makes an AHP comprehensive analysis process forthe evaluation system. Taking into account the AHP own shortcomings, improvedAHP has been put forward, combined with data envelopment analysis, fuzzydecision-making methods. At last establish the improved comprehensive evaluationmodels, and apply the improved model to evaluate medium voltage power distributionnetwork power supply model.
