With the vigorous growth of the food economy in recent years, carbohydrate foodadditives demand increasing, especially starch sugar, the operation process ofthe technical ability seriously affect the company’s product safety and efficiency. In order toobtain a greater energy-saving effect in the process of production, and the control of processparameter is more stable and convenient, a large number of frequency converter andcontrol system has been applied in the food production process. We selection of DANFOSSFC300series frequency converter in this project, it’s hardware function and stability, ensurethat the starch sugar safety completion; PCS7applies the standard hardware and softwareplatform of TIA series, the advanced data communication and control management function,provides a high performance and stability of the system platform for the project.This thesis use the Frequency converter control system as the design and research object,which from starch sugar production line of DONTA group, Ana lysis all section of starch sugarproduction. Design a frequency converter control system which use Siemens PCS7, Thesystem adopts the I/O station for data collection and centralized management of fieldtransducer and instrumentation equipment, realizes the communication between the controlsystem and the I/O station by PROFIBUS-DP field bus, also other manufacturers ofequipment. achieve the main workshop control system and remote points workshop S7-300PLC communication connection by industrial Ethernet, Application of Siemens PCS7integrated programming software STEP7and WINCC, Completed the control systemprogramming and monitor screen design、create and debug. This project belongs to the largecontrol projects because of used106DANFOSS frequency converters and more than sixthousand I/O points. This thesis introduces the system structure of control system, This thesisdiscusses the system structure、hardware and software, discusses the frequency converterprogram and the network design plan of system.The beginning of the project construction since2011and trial operation at the end of2013, the system from the test run to now stable operation, achieved the expected designgoals and production.
