Large space automatic fire-fighting system is the fire protection products whichis used for large space building.It put the IR and UV sensor technology, smoke sensortechnology, visual technology,computer technology, precision mechanical designtogether. System not only monitors fire but also can automatically fight fire. Theresearch involves theories and technologies of many disciplines,and embodies thelatest achievements of information and artificial intelligence,which is of great value inresearch and application. Compare to other fire-fighting system, large space automaticfire extinguishing system is an active fire-fighting system that can detect the fire earlyand fight fire, and effectively ensure the safety of life and property, dramaticallyreducing the losses caused by fire. Without human interference, the automatic fireextinguishing system can automatically detect, locate and sprinkler, representing thedevelopment direction of modern fire protection products.In this paper,aiming at thelarge space automatic fire extinguishing system, Comprehensive use of analog anddigital signal processing technology, optical technology, hydraulics and so on, focuson resolving the flame orientation detection, flame signal processing, fire cannoncontroller design, as well as the elevation correction, range fitting algorithms, testproved that the system has reached the desired effect. Specific studies are as follows:First, as signal feature extraction is difficult, signal to noise ratio is low, easilylead to wrong judgments and miss alarm in the large space flame detection system,anovel flame detection program based on the flame infrared detection and digital signalprocessing programs is presented. As the functional requirements of large spacedetection system, hardware design methods of flame detection are proposed, includingthe design of detector’s hardware circuit, lens, and the realization of the design ofcracks of directional detection.Meanwhile, As the limitations of signal processingusing pure analog circuit in detection system, the method combined analog circuits and digital signal processing is presented, with the analog circuits to filter interferencesignals on a wide range and amplify the signal, IIR digital filter is then carried outsmall-scale fine filtering, and then carry out FFT operation, the signal is convertedfrom the time domain to frequency domain.through the analysis in time domain andfrequency domain of flame, an accurate judgments of the flame signal is achieved.Second, as the functional requirements of intelligent active sprinkler systemdesign specifications of large space, the design solution of large space automatic fireextinguishing controller and remote based on ARM core micro-controller ispresented.At the same time, the system’s hardware design and software designmethods are proposed, then the system’s automatic control, remote manual control andon-site manual control functions are achieved.Finally, As the own gravity of water column, leading to the error between thefire and the actual location of the jet. the algorithms which can adapt to differentparameters are presented. Beam equation contains the initial speed of jet, pitch angle,range, flow rate and other parameters, which can adapt to different mountingconditions, so as to provide a theoretical basis for the establishment of the database,reducing the workload of debugging on elevation compensation.
