Research On Application Of Work Study In Serpentuator Manufacturing Optimization

Our national power generation equipment manufacturing enterprises have benefitedfrom a good national macroeconomic situation. The whole industry has entered ablossom period. However, currently, most of traditional station owned power generationequipment manufacturing enterprises are of labor intensive type with extensivemanagement style. Their operation of manufacturing depends on experienceaccumulation of front line workers. Since the21st century, as time goes on, clients’demand of product delivery and quality is more and more strict. Therefore nationalpower generation equipment enterprises began to use benchmark method and try to learnmore scientific and efficient management methods to optimize manufacturing process.This article is based on the actual manufacturing and production status in SBWL,the leading domestic power plant equipment manufacturing company, and starting fromcurrent status of production line in serpentine tube workshop, this paper analyzes someproblems existing in this line using the way of program graph and circuit diagram,including too many processes, too much loading and unloading which creates no value,and too long production cycle. It further put forwards perfection suggestions onproduction layout and manufacturing process using the way of working analysis. Somekey processes in serpentine tube production job line such as straight tube butt welding,tube bending and assembly accessories welding are analyzed using the way of operationanalysis and action analysis, and these major processes are improved using the way ofman-machine chart, dynamic elementanalysis chart, and relining of units in productionline to improve man-machine efficiency,standardize operation method, greatlyreduce in-process inventory, enhance the company’smanufacturing capacity in order tosatisfy this internal need and external needs of meeting customer’s new evaluationstandard.
