| The purpose of the feed water control system is to supply sufficient waterfor the boiler to satisfy the rate of vapoirzation, but it always become a complextask. Various disturbances and load changes make the design of the system morecomplicated.The basic requirement of feed water control is to provide an appropriatecontrol scheme in the range of operation conditions while taking account ofsafety and efficiency. To reach this goal, it is necessary to understand the detailsof feed water and the steam system. Base on the principle of the feed watercontrol system, this paper focuses on the dynamic characteristic analysis of theboiler water level in response to the feed water and other operation conditions.After that, design of the power plant feed water control system based on the I/ASeries DCS system is presented. Using the standard function block offered by thehardware supplier, a cascade PID control system is constructed with the switch-functions between one-element control and three-element control. Simulationson the MALTAB software platform are practiced. The advantages of one-element or three-element control schemes and their best choosing are addressed.Simulate the drum level control with the change of load and feed water pumpminimum lfow control. |
