With the improvement of China’s economic strength and technological level, the importance of basic education has gradually gained wide attention. As the transition period of juveniles gradually from the family to the society, middle and primary schools are the initial stage of providing quality-oriented education and have undertaken important historical mission. Middle and primary schools have provided material basis for the juvenile learning life, especially the campus architectures whose pros and cons have directly influenced the development and growth of primary and secondary school students. Conceive approach of campus architectures is very important to the design, however, the academic community has been restricted to the local level without deepening research for a long time.Targeted at making up for the above gap, through field research, literature reference and case analogy, this paper has systematically analyzed the conceive methods of the campus architecture design of China’s primary and secondary schools in the new era, based on three levels including "Architectural space layout mode","Plan function space organization" and "Facade configuration design". In order to make all-dimensional profound analysis on the campus architecture design methods, this paper is mainly divided into four levels. First of all, starting from the design characteristics of campus architecture of primary and secondary schools both at home and abroad, it has illustrated campus architectural forms under different educational systems. Compared to developed countries such as Europe, America and Japan, it has analyzed and studied the development status of campus architectures of China’s primary and secondary schools, and also problems of the new system in the new era. Secondly, from the angle of campus’s macro spatial planning layout, it has summarized and illustrated the conceive methods of the combining forms of each functional architectural layout; then, starting from the analysis on how to create the spatial locations suitable to the growth and development of juveniles, it has studied and put forward conceive methods of the plan functional space within the campus architectures. Finally, it has extended to the design concept of the facade configuration of campus architectures and explored different feelings influenced by different styles and environments.
