With the expansion of the city, there are many increasingly serious problemssuch as the loss of the city’s features, the ecological environment deterioration andso on. The space layout of city promote or restrict the development of the city invarying degrees. As a evolutional theory extending from biology, Symbiosis theoryhave very important meaning for the space layout of city which is complex.In this paper, the author firstly base on the research status of symbiosis theory,according to the object’s different complexity and varies research needs, systematizethe symbiotic system, and divide it into two parts that are single-symbiotic systemand multiple-symbiotic system, and research there frameworks and contentsrespectively. On this basis, the author studys the relationship between the symbiosistheory and the space layout of city, to establish the external symbiotic system of cityand the internal symbiotic system of city, corresponding to the single-symbioticsystem and multiple-symbiotic system respectively, using different methods. Andthen, the author builds the evaluation methods of degree of symbiosis, to evaluatethe space layout of city. Through the combination of symbiosis theory and citydevelopment, the symbiotic system have important theoretical meanings andpractical meanings for the space of city and the development of city.Then, this thesis focuses on the space layout of the airport area in Yulin,.Basisedon the current analysis and research, the author builds the external symbiotic systemof Yulin airport area and the internal symbiotic system of Yulin airport area. In theexternal symbiotic system of Yulin, based on the research methods ofsingle-symbiotic system, the author chooses energy triangle and the Yulin city andthe airport area as three symbiotic units, and build five symbiotic interfaces that are functional interface, transport interface, ecological interface, cultural interface andspecial interface. And then, the author puts forward the direction of the space layoutof city. In the internal symbiotic system of Yulin, based on the research methods ofmultiple-symbiotic system, the author builds five subsystems that are functionalsubsystem, transport subsystem, ecological subsystem, urban and rural areassubsystem, space subsystem, forming five space layout plans. And then, based onstudying of symbiotic elastic respectively, the author overplays the five space layoutplans via the symbiotic of the five subsystems.Finally, the author builds evaluation system of space layout, and evaluatespreliminary solution space layout of Yulin airport area. And then, the author finds thefactors that need to be corrected via the evaluation of symbiosis energy levels, andanalyzes the factors belongs to active factors or passive factors via the evaluation ofsymbiosis degree. On this basis, the author corrects the active factors, and form thespace layout plans of Yulin airport area in the end.
