Recently, the natural ecological environment has been seriously damaged, and thehaze and other natural disasters occur frequently. All these cause enormous socialcasualties and severe economic losses, an increase in carbon emissions is difficultescape its responsibility., It makes a serious shortage of natural resources, whenGrowing energy is demand. The growth of carbon emissions lead to the global climatewarming continued. These problems makes that people have to attach importance tothe protection of resources and environment conservation. At the same time, the rise inthe construction industry, as well as the rapid development of the real estate industry,making the building energy issues become increasingly prominent. According tostatistics, China’s construction industry consumes608billion kWh electricity, coal andnatural gas equivalent to about350million tons of standard Coal, totaling about28%of the total social energy consumption. Therefore, how to reduce the energyconsumption of the building, how to reducing carbon emissions, how to increasing thesustainability of the building, are become very important issues in today’s society.To response these problems, this article use "SDC2013China International SolarDecathlon Competition" as research platform, to study the zero-energy buildingsenergy-saving technologies deeply, design and physical construction SDC2013zeroenergy building competition "xiju" independently through the design of zero energysaving building envelope systems and use renewable energy technologies such as solarlight, heat, etc.First, in the design phase, conduct parametric modeling using BIMRevit software platform for zero-energy buildings "xiju". Import parametric models toDesign Builder, and analyze its wholly-building energy simulation, beyond that, simulate solar power system using Sunny Design for zero-energy buildings "xiju",provide a strong basis for zero-energy buildings "xiju" in energy efficiency andsustainability assessment.Secondly, the use of wired (remote meter reading), wirelesssensor network technology (based on Zigbee protocol Mesh Network),and PV inverterswith a smart meter CNC monitoring module,Research and build a zero-energybuildings "xiju" energy monitoring platform and solar photovoltaic monitoring systemand real-time data acquisition and recording their energy consumption.Finally,according to the previous SD contest judging criteria and the relevant principles ofzero-energy buildings,From the establishment of zero-energy building design,marketing, construction technology, social cultural and economic impact of solartechnologies, indoor environment, water use, building performance, building livability,building energy balance in ten areas were building sustainability evaluation, and "xiju"to make sustainability assessment.The dissertation through the study of the design and physical construction processof zero-energy-building’s "xiju" energy-saving technologies and energy consumptionmonitoring system, as well as the study of excellent zero-energy housing cases in the“SDC2013China International Solar Decathlon Competition”,analyzes andsummarizes the design and energy saving techniques on zero-energy housing, verifiedthe feasibility of reaching the comfort requirements of indoor buildings and reducingbuilding energy consumption to reducing building pollution on the ecologicalenvironment at the same time. Laying a solid foundation for the future development ofzero-energy-buildings.
