And the situations also make the research of swimmingand diving venues have different importance and urgency.Swimming and diving gymnasium in Baoji of Shaanxi province came into beingalong with the fifteenth sports meet. During the "Twelfth Five-Year", swimming anddiving gymnasium in Baoji is the focus of social welfare projects, and it is also one ofthe key construction projects of fifteenth sports meet in Shaanxi province. The stadiumconstruction has great significance in modern society, such as accelerating the economicdevelopment, broadening level the opening, accelerating the transformation of urbaninfrastructure, perfecting the function of the urban services, promoting the nationalfitness activities in depth and raising the standard of urban civilization.Under the premise of existing theory background, the author embarked from thestudy of architectural design about swimming and diving gymnasium in Baoji, used themethod of spot field investigation, combined domestic and foreign advanced cases when the author finished this paper. The author was deeply involved in the wholedesigning processes of Baoji swimming&diving gymnasium, and in this paper willgive a complete statement and analysis of certain issues that the author met whendesigning the gymnasium.Based on the problems when designing and using of general swimming diving hall,this paper systematically concluded the key points in each step of the project, and putforward the difficult and important points. At the same time, the paper exploressimilarities and characteristics of Baoji swimming and diving gymnasium. First of all,the paper analyzed the development and present situation of swimming&divinggymnasium at home and abroad and put forward purpose and meaning of the research;at the same time, the author did many field studies, summarized and pointed out thecurrent problems that exist in design and construction of the swimming&diving hall.Secondly, the paper stated the general situation, the necessity of construction and thefunctions orientation of Baoji swimming&diving gymnasium. Combining the commonproblems with particular situations in designing Baoji swimming&diving gymnasium,this paper put forward some targeted technical measures for its implementation. Forinstance, the paper discussed if the external construction, the core function, structuretechnology and peripheral supporting system of this kind of large-span space structureshave influence on the design the buildings. The paper also summarized and analyzedsome problems when the author was involved in the design of the gymnasium.Meanwhile the paper put forward reasonable solutions to these problems, hoping toprovide reference for future design and to promote rapid and sound development of theswimming and diving venues of our country.
