As a result of the long-term natural environment and human environment, moreand more buildings discover the phenomenon of the damage and functionalimpairment. Not only affect the daily use of comfort requirements, but also plantedhidden danger for structural safety.,to prevent and repair the damage of structuresresearch has become more and more attention. As a result, more and more effectivereinforcement technology and the corresponding research arises at the historic moment.Strengthening technology with prestressed steel strip is proposed new reinforcementmethod in recent years, previously, the strengthening technology with prestressed steelstrip has been carried out many aspects of the theory and experimental research,and itrepeatedly used in practical engineering.Column is one of the main load-bearing elements in reinforced concretestructures,so safety and applicability of column occupies an important position in thestructure design. Due to the bearing capacity and deformation properties of the columnis the basis of the design, the study of the axial compression performance is veryimportant. In terms of lateral restraint concrete, technology of FRP confined concretereinforcement carried on the thorough careful research at home and abroad. This articleresearch methods consult FRP reinforcement technique, This article reasonablyanalyses the bearing capacity, ductility, strain rule steel strip, relationship betweenstress and strain of column concrete square columns strengthened with prestressedsteel strip. This article made19specimen including contrast specimen and prestressed steelstrip concrete specimen with constraints. This article made axial compressionperformance test on them, examine steel strip spacing and strip layers of steel stripreinforced concrete bearing capacity and ductility impact. The test results show that:the prestressing steel strip can significantly increase the carrying capacity and ductilityof the concrete square columns. Spacing decreases with steel strip, or the number oflayers increases, the bearing capacity increases linearly with the trend.But the increasein the number of layers, the bearing capacity enhancing effect is not doubled, while theductility has been greatly improved, more and more gentle in descent stage.Analyzethe strip constraint mechanism, establish The prestressed steel strips constraint axialcompressive strength of concrete model,and fit drawn prestressing steel stripreinforcement the square concrete short columns pressure compressive strengthformula. Calculation results agree well with the experimental data.
