The power system supply power for electrified railway, it is an important part of thewhole power system in China. However, due to the operation characteristics of electriclocomotive is nonlinear and unstable, so it has a great influence on the quality of the powersystem. The negative sequence and harmonics of power system are more serious. So wemanagement of the electrified railway power quality, it can have practical needs andsignificance.The article mainly introduces some of the domestic electric locomotive models,introduces the work principle of SS4type electric locomotive of the AC-DC series, andaccording to the structure and working principle of main circuit of locomotive to built thesimulation model. According to the working principle and structure of CRH2type EMUmodel of the AC-DC-AC series. This paper describes the working principle of three level andfour quadrant converter and related control method, and to do the simulation analysis of theCRH2type EMU. The relevant data through simulation to obtain that can provide a basis forfuture power quality management.In this paper, the structure and the principle of active filter and passive filter aredescribed, introduced the compensation function of the hybrid filter. The passive power filterworking mode and principle of the active power filter have a comparative analysis. Acomprehensive analysis of the working principle and filtering effect of series and parallelfilter. This paper describes the mathematical theory of instantaneous reactive power theorybased on harmonic current and reactive current detection method. It introduces the workingprinciple and the mathematics of H-Infinite controller, the the relevant simulation model isestablished, the effect of the H-Infinite controller is verified.In the last chapter of the article will combine the use of two kinds of control method inpower quality unified regulator. Through respectively establish SS4locomotive and CRH2EMU mixed run in the same power supply arm and the same time. Two cars of type SS4locomotive running on the same power supply arm at the same time and two CRH2EMUrunning simultaneously on the same power supply arm model.Proof of unified power qualityconditioner has an ideal effect on suppressing harmonics and improving power factor underthe action of H-Infinite control and hysteresis control.The focus of the research work of this paper is to do the simulation analysis of AC-DClocomotive and AC-DC-AC locomotive, obtained the operating characteristics of locomotive.Design the H-Infinite controller and Simulation of the controller to improve the effectivenessof the locomotive electric energy quality. Through the simulation based on the unified power quality conditioner control to governance to suppress harmonic and compensate reactivepower etc. By comparing power characteristics before and after compensation to illustrate thesuperior performance of the H-Infinite controller. The novelty of this study lies in simulationof three situation of two locomotives running at the same time, and observe unified powerquality conditioner on governance effect of in these cases. Through the simulation of tractionpower supply system impedance and capacitance changes, the effect on the stability of thecontrol system of the H-Infinite controller.
