An Architectural Programming Study Of The Transformation Of Old Industrial Park Into Cultural Creative Industry Park

In the process of city expansion, urban functional promotion, and industrialrestructuring, a lot of the old industrial parks will be faced with closure or relocation.With the disappearance of the function, a large number of old industrial parks withhistorical, cultural, and recycling value are left. However, there are a lot of successfulexamples of transformation and utilization of old industrial parks, where peoplegradually recognize the advantages of such projects, and set off a boom in old industrialpark transformation.In recent years, the author also came into contact with many similar projects. In theprocess of projects, because the design program was not clear, the design workinvolved continual changes which sometimes affected the whole progress of the project.So the author hopes to find the away to make design program clearly to make projectsin this category success. In the article, the study will be based on the theory ofarchitectural programming, and refer to the characteristics of old industrial parkreconstruction and reviews of actual projects.This article discusses from the coordinator’s perspective, a study of thearchitectural programming of transformation of old industrial parks into culturalcreative industry parks, and summarizes the methods and frameworks.The article is divided into two parts.First (chapters1-4), studies theory and cases studies where the author was involvedin the project. This analyses and summaries the meaning, purpose, content, factors ofthe article, together with frameworks and methods of the architectural programming.Second (chapters5-7), through actual projects, tests the framework and methods ofthe architectural programming and summarizes the process of thinking.
