With the rapid development of internet technology, a new model of “automobile+internet” isbecoming widespreadly accepted by the public. Since automobile will become the next most importantmobile internet portal, internet of vehicles is on the horizon. The popularization of electric automobile andinternet of vehicles will surely become the growing trend of automobile industry.While in our daily life,there are many factors affect the popularization of electric automobile, such as short endurance, insufficientcharging equipment, inconvenient positioning, incompatible traffic information that causes energy wasting,lacking efficient energy management system etc. To solving these problems becomes very urgently. So thisthesis proposed a creative concept of electric automobile intelligent navigation system which takes energyconsumption, traffic information and charging equipment into consideration, which can effectively resolvethe problems that affect the popularization of electric automobile. In other words, this thesis intends toimprove the popularization of electric automobile.Analyzing drivers demands on navigation system and investigating the development trend and existingproblems of the current navigation system by document consulting, questionnaire survey, user interview etc.Making new surface design of the electric automobile intelligent navigation system by integrating surfacedesigning theory. The coming age will come to internet of vehicles era, information consultation will beachieved on mobile terminal. The ultimate achievement of this thesis is a new surface design of electricautomobile intelligent navigation system. By adopting efficient and reasonable designing theory to fullysatisfy users’demands and by perfect user experience to bring people better living style.The core contents of electric automobile intelligent navigation system are path navigation, energymanagement and planing, charging guidance, identifying guidance and auxiliary navigation. Path navigationadds traffic information and energy consumption as the driving path choosing consideration standard.Energy management and planing focuses on showing energy consumption directly of the interior systemsand during its operation of automobile. It can also help the driver to make reasonable and efficient pathplaning according to surplus energy. Charging guidance provides with multiple charging modes that drivercan use the appropriate one based on actual positioning to relieve the short endurance problem. Identifyingguidance aims to unify the electric automobile’s identifying setting norms. Auxiliary navigation focuses onsteering wheel and instrument panel. Instrument panel replaces traditional navigation display on the controlplatform so that all the navigation surface can be shown on instrument panel. By pushing buttons onsteering wheel to achieve intelligent navigation.According to the research above we can find that the concept and interface design of intelligent electricvehicle navigation system can solve the problems of electric cars effectively, making vehicles get a reasonable route planning,use the energy efficiently and get energy supplement. The intelligent electric vehicle nav igation service system has big significance and practical value, it will be a good reference to vehicle navigation and also has a positive impact on Automotive Internet. However, current research has some limitations,the research will continue and develop step by step.
