| China’s construction industry waste generated each year in billions of units ofmeasurement, according to official statistics, five billion tons of construction waste wil beproduced in2020at least, waste concrete which accounts for about50%to60%. Inforeign recycled concrete is the mainly re-used form of waste concrete, because of the highcost of recycled concrete crushing in China, and the lack of appropriate system, seriouslyhindered the recycling of waste concrete. Utilization of waste concrete block large scalemay be waived for crushing, screening, purification, preparation processes, significantlyreducing costs, is an effective way of recycling waste concrete.In order to effectively utilize the waste concrete, and reduce costs, the paper focusesperformance study on14axial compression of built of large scale block in thin-walledcircular steel concrete short columns. The influence of the mixed ratio of the wasteconcrete, the strength of the core concrete and the steel ratio on the bearing capacity andductility of the specimens are analyzed, and were analyzed by using orthogonal experiment;after carrying capacity formula of specimens were amended. Finally, simulation analysisby using ABAQUS, and to analyzed the factors of core concrete.The research shows that: the initial stiffness of built of large-scale block in thin-walled circular steel concrete short columns close to ordinary steel, when the mixing ratioof waste concrete less than35%, with the waste concrete mixing ratio ncreased, bearingcapacity reduced; with the steel ratio increased, both of the bearing capacity and ductilityare increasing; the sensitive factor of capacity of short columns is the steel ratio, thestrength of core concrete, the mixing ratio of waste concrete, ductility sensitive factor is thesteel ratio, the mixing ratio of waste concrete, the strength of core concrete, it isrecommended that the mixing ratio of waste concrete of project in the range of20%~30%.It is recommended that the capacity calculating of built of large-scale block in thin-walledcircular steel concrete short columns using the capacity formula of AISC360-05with0.95adjustment coefficient. The results of simulation analysis by using ABAQUS is better agreement withexperimental results, the analog values are greater than the experimental values, but haslittle deviation, the mean square deviation is0.08, it is indicating that the constitutiverelation of Han Linhai is applying to this specimen, and the strength of core concrete isconverted into waste concrete and cast concrete. The results show that: the constraints ofthin-walled steel tube on core concrete increases with the increasing of steel ratio, anddecreases with the increase of concrete strength, and increases with the increase of mixingratio of concrete.
