Container crane is the leading handling equipment of the container terminal.Since the1980s, the container shipping are booming as so as world economy andinternational trade are more prosperous. Container ship is becoming more and morelarge-scale which lead to container port throughput surge, this also promotes thedevelopment of container crane. On the one hand, the development trend of containercrane presents a larger, automated, high-speed and intelligent,this performance ofthe container crane asked a higher technical requirement. On the other hand, themarket demand to attract more enterprises to participate in the competition of thecontainer crane market, which also need to container crane design work can reducedesign the cycle speed of response to market demand. Current container cranestructure design on the basis of standard design knowledge is often draw on theexperience of the previous design example and expert knowledge, in accordance with"design-checking-re-design" approach to complete the program, the process of thisapproach is complicated and need to do a lot of repetitive work. As to thedevelopment trend of the container crane and market competition, how to improve thedesign efficiency, reduce land bridge structure design designers work, rapid responseto market demand has been a problem should to be solved urgently. Expert system isthe advanced form of artificial intelligence who applications of artificial intelligenceand computer technology to simulate the decision-making process of human expertsby a lot of expertise and experience in system integration in the system, in order toresolve those complex issues require expert humans to deal with.This article summarizes the general knowledge of container crane structuredesign, through consultation with the experts of container crane structure design tocollect a large number of container crane structural design example and experience,,as the base of build container crane infrastructure design Expert System. Bycomparing the merits of various knowledge representation for shore bridge structuredesign, using the object-oriented programming language and SQL Structured QueryLanguage as programming tool,creates a comprehensive knowledge which based onObject-Oriented and combination of frame representation, production rule representation. Build a comprehensive knowledge base of expert system whichcontain container crane structure design rules and examples. Studied the reasoningmechanism of integrated container crane structural design expression, and accordingto container crane structure design features selected appropriate conflict resolutionstrategies. The article also through expert investigation and application yaahp AHPsoftware to identify and evaluation of each index weights when use expert systemdatabase. In order to the design scheme is more intuitive and to facilitate furtherresearch, the system uses APDL language of finite element analysis softwareANSYS to establish container crane structure design expert system parametricmodeling module. And finally application of VB6.0to package the various functionalmodules. Implements the functions of container crane structure design expert system.
