Because of the frequent occurrence of fire disaster, better reliability and responsespeeds are needs of modern fire alarm and linkage controller. The linkage control of fireequipments is the key point of fire automatic alarming system. This paper aim to design amanual fire linkage controller, adding manual linkage to the automatic alarming system,bring in intelligent searching and reminding ability.In this paper, the manual fire linkage controller implemented based upon ARMprocessor and capacitive touch screen. Firstly we chose S5PV210and embedded linux asthe basic hardware and software, using Qt for embedded linux to design and finish graphicuser interface. we use graphic buttons to take the place of physical buttons in old manualfire linkage controller, adding flexible setting, intelligent searching and reminding ability,these could help operator to start linkage equipment in a shorter period of time so as tofaster extingiushment. The manual fire linkage controller communicate with fire automaticalarming system by EIA-485field bus, we design the application protocol and linkagelogic and implemented them with Qt. By U-disk, we achieved configuration and loginformation transmission, and we added a soft keyboard based Chinese input method tothe system. while touching the screen, a buzzer will give some beeper. several LEDs arealso added to the system, using to indicate the communication status and running status. Inthis system, the design and implementation of EIA-485application layer protocol and firelinkage logic is the key point and innovation idea.In the end of this paper, a system function test is accomplished. we analysis the testresult and discuss the shortage of the system, then list the direction of furtherimprovement.
