With the development of the society, fire safety is more and more attention, the application of automatic fire alarm system is also growing. In this paper, the manual control panel is part of the automatic fire alarm system for fire alarm controller added manually linkage function, at the same time, strengthen the function of fire alarm prompt, intelligent searching, to enhance the system reliability, increased the fire processing speed.In this paper, the manual fire linkage controller implemented based on ARM processor, capacitive touch screen and GUI programming software to implement. According to the functional requirements, this product chooses S5PV210 processor and Embedded Linux as the basic hardware and software, using Qt software to design and finish graphical user interface. we use virtual buttons to take the place of physical buttons in old manual fire linkage controller, increasing flexible setting, intelligent searching, manual control button editing, linkage configuration, its purpose is to help the operator fast start the fire linkage equipment, decrease the fire loss. This manual control panel communicate with fire alarm controller by CAN bus, according to the reality needs, we design the CAN bus communication protocol, defines the manual linkage logic, and implement the communication protocol with Qt.Firstly, This article briefly described the automatic fire alarm system, understand the role of the manual control panel, and then analysis the pros and cons of existing manual control panel, this manual control panel's design requirements, overall design and key technologies. The design of CAN bus communication protocol is one of the focus of this article, will be introduced, and then we introduce this panel's hardware platform structures, and the software design and implementation. Finally, we test this manual control panel, and analyze the test results.
