With the increasingly contradiction of economic development and environmental protection,the simple and crude development model of the construction industry in the past has not suited tothe extensive development of sustainable social development needs. Today, more and morepeople are aware that green building is the inevitable trend of future building which is propitiousto energy Conservation and environmental protection.This paper will use the BIM application technology to explore the design stage of the greenbuilding. It will also propose the development of the green building should start from the sourceand adopt integrated design management. Moreover, with the high-tech means of BIM platformand a virtual model building built by BIM technology, it provides the necessary analysis of thegreen building design. Through the analysis of the information contained in building virtualmodels, we will explore the architecture building data in the process of design, simulatesignificant factors for building energy optimization analysis and provide important data basis inquantitative analyzing the energy consumption. Lastly, we will optimize the building solutions byestablishing the BIM-GRA model (which is based on the BIM gray correlation analysis method),and we will testify the model and the usefulness of the method through engineering examples.The results of the research works are as follows:1By analyzing the traditional design, the use of tools and the characteristics of the designprocess, the concept, motivation, consideration, general principles and design framework ofintegrated design management model are proposed. Meantime, the advantage of building designis highlighted in comparative analysis between the new one and the traditional building designmethod.2From the aspect of BIM technology, focusing on its visualization, coordination,simulation and optimization, it will build a virtual building through revit software by using theinformation related to the construction project as a model. Furthermore, HY-EP software will usethe annual energy consumption of the building simulation, optimize the simulation result byorthogonal test, and then have the influential factor of the building consumption.3The analysis of the architectural design parameters and evaluation is to improve thequality of architectural design and the overall performance of the building. Based on theperformance-based computer simulation technology and gray correlation decision method andextracting architectural design decisions influencing factors and product performance evaluationobjectives, we will establish a BIM-GRA architectural design decisions integrated optimizationmodel, and will use the practical example to testify its validity.
