Chinese seismic code adopts "strong column weak beam, strong node weakcomponent" design principle in seismic design of frame structure. But Wenchuan’searthquake report tell us: reinforced concrete frame structure is relatively serious after theearthquake, some multi-story frame structure buildings even collapse completely. In thedamage of frame structure, column’s destruction is more serious than beam, the concretecracking, crushing loss, the longitudinal reinforcement becomes buckling and bulgingand appears lantern shape, beam and floor produces large incline. The emergence of the"strong beam weak column" is mainly due to the floor has a "super" effect on beam, theresult is that the flexural capacity of frame beam is higher than column. So how to avoidthe emergence of "strong beam weak column", causes the high attention.The paper combine the relevant theory with previous research, from the angle ofinfluence for the flexural capacity of frame beam of weakening the floor, the Quasi-statictest is adopted to do displacement loading for two frame structure which setting and notsetting up slot around in floor. Analyzing the bearing characteristics of two kinds offrame nodes and concluding that: the cast-in-place floor reinforcement improve theflexural capacity of frame beam, after the slot around is set up, the flexural capacity offrame beam has a certain and decreasing margin, plastic hinge probably appears in endthe beam first of all, the beam hinge failure mechanism can form and the "strong columnweak beam" effect is easier to realize.In order to ensure the realization of "strong column weak beam", the stability offrame column and stiffness need to be reinforced further. In different parts of column,CFRP can improve stability of the column, the contrast proves effect which reinforced inthe bottom of column is better than the others. In addition, after the CFRP is reinforced,column’s stiffness become increasing significantly, resulting in being increasing aboutthe flexural capacity of frame column and meeting the normative requirements.
