The transmission mode of the large mining dump trucks mainly contains thehydro-mechanical transmission, electrical transmission and hydraulic mechanicaltransmission that is still at theoretical research stage. This paper intends to use the fullhydraulic transmission in the driving system of the large mining trucks, it can provide a ideafor the driving system of the large mining trucks.The paper synthetically analyzes and compares the hydro-mechanical transmission,electrical transmission and hydraulic mechanical transmission, puts forward the idea that thedump truck could be driven by the double-engine, three kinds of the hydraulic transmissionsystem are presented, and the process of these transmission system and these advantages anddisadvantages are worked out in details, the final choice is relatively appropriate scheme.According to the requirements of the large mining trucks under different operating conditionsand running performance, match and calculate the parameters of the full hydraulic drivingsystem, and make selection and verification about variable pump, variable motor, gear andother key device. According to the calculation formula of the theoretical efficiency of variablepump and variable displacement motor, obtain the efficiency of the whole hydraulic drivingsystem with varied speed. Through the kinematic and dynamic analysis on the wholehydraulic driving system, obtain the traction characteristic curve in different operatingconditions of the truck. Through the AMESim software for modeling and simulation of thefully hydraulic driving system, obtain the response of the full hydraulic driving system andthe traction characteristics of the dumping truck under different operating conditions, this canprovide basis theory for the full hydraulic drive system of the large mining trucks.
