In this paper, analyzed the domestic and foreign development status of hydraulic-mechanical drive system matches, and derived current research status anddevelopment trends of hydraulic-mechanical transmission. In the constructionmachinery industry, hydraulic-mechanical transmission commonly used in loaders,the match of transmission mode, the exaltation of power and economy has become anurgent problem to consider and resolve. This paper based on engineering practice andthe main research is reasonable matching of the engine and torque converter, and usedAMESim as tools simulated and analyzed reasonable match of hydraulic-mechanicaltransmission. Designers can complete engine and torque converter of choice, improvedesign accuracy and efficiency by the model mentioned in the article.First proposed the basic idea and necessity of hydraulic-mechanicaltransmission match, and analyzed original matching method in order to establish asimulated target of this article. Established the mathematical model of the converterbased on a one-dimensional beam theory and the torque converter working principle,and established the mathematical model of the engine based on the externalcharacteristics curve of the engine. Come to evaluation parameters of the torqueconverter and engine, and obtained the important parameters of the two matchingrelations.Used AMESim as tools to establish the model of the engine and torque converter,analyzed and Researched important parameters of them. Made the convertersimulation curve accord with the actual by debugging both sides of the load andinternal parameters of torque converter. Bring actual external characteristics curve ofthe engine in the model of AMESim, made external characteristics of the engineaccord with the actual.Researched input characteristics, output characteristics, and joint evaluation of the work of Engine and torque converter, used AMESim software to analysis theMatching results of engine and torque converter. Simulated the torque converter inSeveral special conditions, and obtained Number of impeller torque curve, usedAMESim to draw the curves of the engine and torque converter in the sameproportion, obtained the efficient area of them.
