Our country is a mountainous country, about75%of the land is mountains or hills.Tunnel has overcame the obstacle of the terrain or elevation, improving the linear etc, hasbecome the servants of the optimal selection of highway. The current design of highwaytunnel is mainly based on engineering analogy method, the theoretical calculation andnumerical analysis method can only as a general reference, and according to the engineeringanalogy method has certain blindness, only can’t adapt to the variability of geologicalconditions, which makes the original design do not tally with the actual situation ofconstruction, according to the original design for excavation and supporting is often notenough safety and economy.Dynamic design is a tunnel engineering design method developed in this context. Atpresent, overall, dynamic design is still in development,it will be mature gradually, the studyof the theory and practical technology on it needs further develop.In this paper, taking Shi Yang Ling tunnel for the engineering background, the overalldesign of tunnel, the buried depth boundary, primary support, construction method of soiltunnel and dynamic design of tunnel construction are studied on, the conclusions are:The buried depth boundary of loess tunnel is put forward from engineering point ofview;Demonstrates the security and economic model of the loess tunnel primary support"steelarch shelf+modulus of concrete+lock foot tube composite structure";Through practiceverify the method for the loess tunnel which the new Austrian method is used to design, theMining method is used to construction; Emphasizes the dynamic design in the construction,according to the change of the geological conditions, geological advance forecast andmonitoring measurement and a reasonable adjustment lining support parameters andconstruction method is needed in the construction. This research on loess tunnel design andconstruction has guidance and reference significance.
