With the continuous development of the international aviation industry, in order to meetthe increasing demand for air traffic and busy travelers, the main carrier of the airport asground services, need to constantly improve all kinds of passenger flow, provide passengerswith a more convenient and efficient service. This paper will Baiyun International AirportTerminal2passengers planning and design process as a starting point to study the BaiyunAirport Terminal2passenger flow simulation using professional methods to determine theBaiyun Airport Terminal2through research building programs related facilities of passengerflow and provide a theoretical basis for the2nd overall construction of Terminal, Terminal2after the completion guarantee better able to provide convenient, efficient and personalizedservice for travelers.With the rapid development of computer technology, research terminal passenger flowmethod using computer simulation and functional layout optimization technology has becomeone of the widely used international aviation community. The world’s major airports andairlines in the planning, operation and other work to study more and more concerned aboutthe use of simulation technology terminal planning and design problems. This article will rundata Baiyun Airport Terminal1as the reference basis for the Baiyun Airport Terminal2passenger flow simulation, the simulation results to adjust and optimize the2nd passengerterminal process design and related facilities. Firstly, the process is explained to airportpassengers, a year to run the data using Terminal1to Terminal2as the basis for datapassenger flow study, a variety of operating data via the underlying data and assumptionsTerminal2parameters. The second hypothesis through analysis of operating parameters, referto the International Air Transport Association (IATA) standards-related services, analyticalresults obtained for each passenger flow service performance. By analyzing the results of thethird simulation programs, supporting the construction of the adjustment program, and afteradjusting for the design were analyzed, and recommendations related to the constructionprocess.The purpose of this paper is to ensure that the planning and design of the GuangzhouBaiyun International Airport Terminal2, the airport authorities to meet the objectivesestablished for the future of the airport terminal operational efficiency and other aspects of theassessment and quantitative analysis to provide decision support for the relevant departments,Terminal II and ensure that the design of facilities to meet or exceed the goals established bythe airport authorities to raise the overall level of passenger service Baiyun Airport.
