Research On The Key Technology Of Gussasphalt Pavementon The Steel Box Beam Bridge Deck

The steel bridge projectof the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge deck pavement iscurrently the world’s most difficult cross sea steel bridge deck pavement engineering forit’slarge scale and complicated construction conditions.Large span steel bridge deck pavementis always a difficult problem in the world. It is very necessary to research the constructionofsteel bridge deck, which has the important practical significance to the quality control of steeldeck pavement of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge project. Based onthe HongKong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge construction drawing design stage of steel deck pavementacceleration loading test, the paper gavesystematic studies on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macaobridge deck pavement project design conditions, paving scheme comparison and selection,performance of pavement materials testing, construction technology, construction qualityinspection requirements and many other aspects. The paper combined the practical situationof Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao bridge, analysisingthe recommended scheme of steel deckpavementwith the consideringof three basic conditions of bridge deck stiffness, temperatureand traffic load.Through the analysis of the waterproof layer constructiontechnology,performance testsandmixing process of the GMA, the selected asphalt pavementGMA casting is more suitable for the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Deck Pavement ofsteel bridge.Through the research on the cast asphalt mixtureconstruction technology, the paperstudied the mixing process influence on casting asphalt mixture material properties andpavement performance. The paper also analyzed the problems and countermeasuresofconstruction key equipmentand GMA construction process.The paper verify the feasibility of research results obtained by the accelerated loadingtest of pavement material and pavement structure. The test showed that the GMA ofgussasphaltpaving scheme can meet the demand of steel bridge deck pavement of hightemperature stability and fatigue durability requirements.Finally, according to the technical specifications,engineering experience and projectresearch, the paper established the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Deck GMA castingasphalt pavement construction technique requirement and construction quality control and criteria.
