With the continuous expansion of power grid, it is more and more important to operatepower system safely. For the security of power system, the secure operation of power apparatus,especially the reliability of the transmission and transformation equipments, plays the key roles.In order to ensure the reliable operation of the transmission and transformation equipments, andto avoid over-maintenance, it is necessary to aware the states of the equipments and to designflexible maintenance strategies. Condition based maintenance, as a new way of maintenance, cannot only reduce the maintenance cost, shorten the blackout time, but also improve the equipmentutilization, and has become a new direction for the equipment maintenance in power system.In this thesis, the state relevant parameters, which can reflect the working state of thetransmission and transformation equipments, are analyzed at first including their way of acquiring.An objective condition indicator system is also established considering the need of equipmentassessment and practical operability. Then, the analytic hierarchical process combined with expertevaluation is designed to determine weight coefficient of each state parameters. Based on fuzzymathematics theory, a dynamic fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is developed for thecondition evaluation.On the basis of aforementioned works, a risk assessment model for the transmission andtransformation equipments are set up which considers losses of five aspects: the equipment itself,human and environment, power system and the society, and combines with the guide rule ofequipment status evaluation and risk assessment technology in Guangdong Power GridCorporation. The risk level can be calculated and possible accident risk can be forecasted.Therefore, it can guide the formulation of maintenance strategy.Researches in the thesis can help the power utilities to formulate reasonable and scientificequipment maintenance strategy with consideration of the health status and risk level as well asother practical situations of the power supply department.
