In recent years, in order to meet the large and medium-sized city of peakregulation and energy saving, Gas Turbine Combined Cycle Unit obtained fastdevelopment. These units have the advantages of high efficiency, good peak shavingperformance, high degree of automation, small pollution etc.. But with the increase inrunning time of equipment, we found that the operation technology of the importedunit cannot be completely applicable to the actual situation in China, such ascombustion instability, the Compressor surge and other typical malfunctions. Gasturbine also has tripped many times, which caused a great economic loss. This article based on the actual needs of the applications, first introduced theoverall structure of V94.3A Gas Turbine and important auxiliary system; thenaccording to the hierarchical classification method to establish the typical faultdiagnosis model; through the in-depth analysis of typical malfunctions which occuredin daily operation, established and formed the fault diagnosis rule bases by using themethod of knowledge units; finally, according to the actual phenomenon ofmalfunctions and experiences got fault confirmed tables, and solved the faults fromthe aspects of the effective measures. The measures, which in fault diagnosis andelimination respect, have achieved good results in practical application process, andprovided effective experiences and knowledges in operating of Gas Turbine.Through the analysis of this paper, we had profound analysis and deeperunderstanding for the design or equipment problems of the94.3A Gas Turbine, so thatwe develop on a big step in the introduction, absorption and application of foreignadvanced large-scale Gas Turbine Power Generation Technology, and we had greatlyimproved the security, stability and economic of the Gas Turbine operation.
