During the engagement of the wet shift clutch, as the friction torque transferredby the friction pair relies on the axial pressure of friction pair, the control oil pressuredetermines the transfer quality of clutch torque. Control oil pressure force the piston,then the piston moves overcoming the force of the return spring. As a result the gapbetween the friction pair changes with its movement and compress. Because of theelasticity of the return spring and the stiffness of the friction pair, friction pair underthe control of the oil pressure will have an axial movement and compress, and thenoscillate. As the damp and sliding friction caused by the piston and the friction pairand the liner, this oscillation will decay. However the force between the key pairaffects the axial sliding friction directly.The subject focuses on the wet shift clutch of the tracked vehicle. Established themodel of axial movement of disc friction pair. Then analyzed the movement law ofthe friction pair controlled by oil pressure and variation of the gap between thefriction pair. Further, considering the inertia and the speed of the friction pair, axialfriction of clutch friction spline teeth and the friction interface pressure characteristicswere gotten. By analyzing the simulation result using the model, studied the influenceof different oil pressure; different system stiffness and the different material on theaxial friction of the splines and the friction interface pressure. Based on thedisturbance of the friction interface pressure, variation of the growth coefficient wasanalyzed; the critical speed when TEI occurred was got and different structuralparameters were studied. All of these have an important influence on the clutchreliability, fault analysis and service life.
