Increasingly prominent environmental issues have become thecenter of attention, human urgent need to find new energy sources to replace fossil fuels,not only to avoid further deterioration of the environment, but also to be able to ensureeconomic and social prosperity and progress. Solar energy is considered to be one of themost promising new energy sources,butthe utilization of solar has not yet reachedcurrent expectations, mainly due to low utilization of solar energy has led to high costs.The utilization of solar energy can be improved by accurately tracking the sun. Scienceand technology workers around the world continue to study tracking technology,because it can effectively improve the utilization of solar energy. Based on the singleaxis tracking devices, designedan automatic solar tracking device, the tracking devicethat can effectively improve the utilization of solar energy.This paper describes the application of solar photovoltaic technology background,the current situation and problems of the application, which in turn leads to the purposeand significance of solar tracking, and introduced the current domestic and internationalresearch and development tracking technology. Then research the movement of the sun,this paper proposes tracking technology solutions continuously track the azimuth of sunfrom east to west, achieve the purpose of tracking the sun. Further according to therequirements of the tracking program, the mechanical structure and the tracking controlsection is designed. Mechanical part of the program focuses on the whole machineryand mechanical tracking components, including the stepper motor and reducer, andother core components. Tracking control section is MSP430F149microcontroller core,and the entire system control programs and other hardware are designed according to the tracking technology programs to achieve the goal of track the sun continuously.Solar automatic tracking device installed in a solar photovoltaic power plant inDunhuang experimental results show that the solar tracking device designed in thispaper can effectively improve the utilization of solar energy, and only consumes verylittle energy. Electricity generation tracking systems and fixed systems are comparedunder different weather. In sunny weather, electricity generation tracking systems thanfixed systems increased31.39%. In cloudy weather, electricity generation trackingsystems than fixed systems increased11.20%. Compare10consecutive days trackingelectricity generation systems and fixed systems, the results showed that electricitygeneration tracking systems than fixed systems increased30.17%. In sunny weatherconditions, the energy consumed when the track is0.238kW h, the control systempower consumption is only0.89percent of total generating capacity.energyconsumption is only a very small part of the total generating capacity. Experimentshows that the use of the whole tracking system can effectively increase the generatingcapacity, and track energy consumption is very small, the use of tracking systemsresearched in this paper the effect is very obvious. |
