Urban landscape color is an important element which carries internal culture of acity. Urban landscape color planning also play an important role in urban stylepresenting, quality improving and urban characteristics.The main theoretical basises ofthis essay are chromatology and color geography,and Research methods are fieldresearch,literature documents search and metaphors appear contrast,This is asystematical research on historical culture symbol of Qingdao city landscape color by aview sight of landscape color of Qingdao historical block.The first part of the essay states research background,research destination andmeaning,research view angles and method and the research current situation at homeand abroad;the second part mainly illuminates some related theories of city landscapecolor,meanwhile;the third part analyzes Qingdao’s nature and culture via colorgeography knowledge and then do a research summary of current city color of QingdaoColorado Area,small fish hill and historical block on Zhongshan Road,and also makesrelative analysis about historical culture symbol of landscape color;the fourth part is toknow people’s color mind by a series of questionnaire;the last part is about suggestionsand advices on Qingdao City current landscape color situation and future development.According to this study,I hope it not only could offer some theoretical ground and practical operation method to planning and designing of Qingdao city landscape colorarea,but also could integrate space aesthetics and regional culture into future citylandscape color practice,and fully present the Qingdao’s color landscape which is full oftraditional culture and mild climate,then promote sustainable development of Qingdaoregional landscape.
