Research On The Regional Culture Of Historical Block Landscape Design

Historical district, with its rich historic building heritage, traditional way of life and the concentrated reflection of city culture, has become the important way of inheriting the city culture and shaping the city image. But until now,there are still lots of historical district landscape in the process of transformation and updation, only pays attention to the protection of historical relics, remains of historical construction, and do not pay enough attention to the cultural landscape design, which has caused the extinction of the memories of the city.The landscape of historic district is the material carrier of city culture. So how to show the regional characteristics become the focus of this paper.This paper on the basis of a large number of documents, books. Based on the theory of conservation of historic blocks, through investigation and research, collected relevant information recording the historic district of Pingjiang Road.There are six parts in this paper. The first part of this article mainly dissertates the paper’s research background,research contents,research significance and purpose, research status at home and abroad and levels, and research methods.The second part put up some thesis related to the essay.The third part mainly tells the story of the Suzhou regional culture related theoretical basis.The fourth part mainly aims at related research; The fifth part through a combination of classic cases worldwide, analyses the main cultural landscape image way; Finally, summarizes the whole paper.Through the study of Pingjiang road’s landscape construction, author have summarized the following two points. First, we should pay attention to the expression of regional landscape elements, fully excavating regional culture characteristics. combined with its unique space scale environment, the abstract environment through integration, refining, and and the integration of material elements, the inductive extracts operable, and easy to take advantage of regional design methods to express the mall deep regional characteristics of inherent and get rich regional landscape space design.By refining the abstraction of the environmental elements,we should combinate the scale space and the natural environment, and combinate the blocks’ composition of the material elements. We should put up some Operable、easily demonstrate the design techniques to express the historical block’s specific regional culture,in order to create a regional landscape design.Second,we also should take consideration of abstract elements with the specific elements. The concrete and abstract elements included in a certain order, overall consideration and coordination, in order to make the elements in the regional commercial pedestrian street landscape construction play a proper role.
