The steel reinforced recycled concrete structure overcomes the shortcomings of thetraditional reinforced concrete structure, such as low bearing capacity and poor seismicperformance. At the same time, the new structure not only accord with the strategies ofnational green environmental protection and sustainable development., but also solvethe problem of discharge of abandoned construction waste. Introduction of recycledconcrete in steel reinforced concrete structures, comprehensive utilization of resourcescan be achieved, meanwhile enrich the scope of application of composite structures. Therefore, the steel reinforced recycled concrete composite structure has a broadapplication prospects. In this paper, low-cyclic reversed loading tests were carried out on4specimens bythe parameter of recycled coarse aggregate replacement rate. The recycled coarseaggregate replacement rate is0,30%,70%and100%respectively. The failure patternsand loading characteristics were observed. The mechanical behaviors such as theload-displacement hysteretic curves, skeleton curves, load carrying capacity, degradation of strength and stiffness, inter-story drift, ductility and energy dissipation ofthe middle joints were analyzed.Finite element analysis of the test on steel reinforced recycled concrete middleframe joints was simulated by using the software ABAQUS, The skeleton curves offrame joints, deformation and stress distribution maps were obtained, and with the testresults were analyzed. Meanwhile, in order to consider the influence of factors such asaxial compression ratio, recycled concrete strength grade, steel strength and steel column web thickness on seismic performance of frame joints were analyzed in detail.According to the test data, the shear value of the core area of steel reinforcedrecycled concrete middle frame joints in various stages was studied, and obtains themeasured shear values and percentages of each shear component. Meanwhile, variousparts of the shear capacity calculated under the existing theoretical was superimposed. Finally, the shear capacity formula applied to steel reinforced recycled concrete middleframe joints was proposed, and compared with the test measured shear value of the corearea of joints in the ultimate load time, Comparison of results verify the reasonablenessof the formula.
