The PMSM is the core component of numerical control machine andelectric vehicles. High speed is the main trend of numerical control machineand electric vehicles in the future. In order to make the PMSM have a widespeed range and a strong load capacity under the limit of inverter capacity,weakening control strategy is one of the hotspots in the research of PMSM.This paper focuses on the flux weakening control methods which can achievewide speed range of PMSM in CNC machine spindle system. In order tosolve the problem of two kind of flux weakening control methods, this paperproposes some improved methods and builds a PMSM experimental systembased on dSAPCE.Firstly, this paper builds the PMSM wide speed control system based onvoltage feedback and studies the theory of the traditional voltage feedbackflux weakening control method. The traditional voltage feedback fluxweakening control has the problem of current volatile and weak load capacityin high speed. In order to solve these problems, an adaptive feed forwardweakening control method is proposed. The simulation experiments showthat the method can effectively improve the performance of weakening fluxcontrol.Secondly, this paper builds the PMSM wide speed control system basedon the current lead angle, due to that the traditional current lead angle controlmethod has the problem of stator current volatility and poor high-speedstability. An improved current lead angle method and a voltage differencefeedback weakening control method are proposed to improve theperformance in high speed. The simulation results in the MATLAB/Simulink of the two methods show that the two methods can effectively suppresscurrent fluctuations, and make the motor operate stably in high speed.Finally, the PMSM experimental platform based on dSPACE is built andthe motor driven board is designed, which includes the main circuit, controlcircuit, dSPACE interface circuit, PWM conditioning circuit and so on.The flux weakening control methods based on advance angle are verified byPMSM experimental platform. The real experiments confirm that thedSPACE HIL system is effective and practical in the development of controlsystem and can shorten the project development cycle.
