In the study of electrical product reliability, the random information and fuzzyinformation is widely accepted, the corresponding probability reliability and fuzzyreliability. Both reliability model of reliability measure can use probability method. Butthese two kinds of reliability is the premise of the existence of a large amount ofinformation. When the uncertainty of electric products have less information, cannot useprobability reliability model and the fuzzy reliability model for analysis of the situation, also need to measure the reliability of the electrical products. Robust reliability is in such asituation. This new method of reliability greatly enriched the traditional reliability methodand robust reliability gives a possible algorithm. Since the robust reliability rise, robustreliability has been widely used in the field of machinery, but there are no electrical fieldresearches. In fact, the robust reliability not only applies in mechanical field, but alsoapplies in the electric field. Therefore need to studies the robust reliability measureelectrical products.Using the model of stress-strength, robust reliability measure is given, and it used inthe study of the reliability of electrical products. In practical engineering, because theinformation insufficient or people’s subjective assumptions lead to the uncertainty ofunavoidable, at this point, use probability reliability model and fuzzy reliability model forreliability analysis is very difficult, is not accurate. Robust reliability need to know theboundary of the uncertain variable values will be able to measure the reliability of thestructure. The research results show that this method is especially suitable for design stageof electrical appliances product. The use of robust reliability method can effectively reduceproduct development and operational costs.
